Drawing on extensive experience as both Teacher and Director of Boarding across South African and Australian boarding schools, Jock’s passion for innovation transformed a simple Excel spreadsheet into today’s comprehensive cloud-based platform.

The system’s evolution has been strengthened by the expertise of Jock’s wife, an accomplished Computer Science Professional and Academic. Their daughter Marion brings fresh perspective to marketing through her Multimedia Journalism background. Together, they’ve assembled an expert team of Software Engineers, eSecurity Specialists, and Data Privacy professionals.

As a lifelong boarder, Jock deeply understands the unique challenges and opportunities within Boarding School communities. Combining his Degree in Residential Care and extensive teaching experience, Jock has firsthand knowledge of the specific needs of boarding schools in Colonial South Africa, Western Australia, and Queensland.
Recognizing the potential for a digital solution, Jock began developing a system with Microsoft Access as a hobby in 2002. With invaluable support of his wife, Jeanie, this morphed over the years to become a serious project requiring specialized staff to contribute to the various aspects embodied in go-liberty.com
Drawing on extensive industry experience, Jock has dedicated himself to creating a tool that simplifies operations, improves communication, and ultimately, elevates the quality of boarding education.
Jeanie has a BSc in Computer Science and many years of industry experience. She began her career developing programs for mining industry in Southern Africa and later moved to developing sales systems for a national manufacturing concern in Johannesburg. In Queensland Jeanie has taught Mathematics and various IT related subjects as well as a spell as Girls Boarding Mistress – more to help her husband one year when in need of good boarding staff.
Sajal Gupta has been in on the development of go-liberty since 2016. As CEO, he has steered Dikonia for over 12 years, bringing visionary leadership and strategic expertise to the organization. A driving force behind the go-liberty platform, Sajal played a crucial role in collaborating with Jock in continuing to conceptualize and develop the product. His extensive experience and commitment to innovation have been instrumental in bringing this ambitious platform to life.
Pankaj Patial holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications and a Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences. A skilled Node.js developer, Pankaj has been an integral part of Dikonia for over two years. He has played a pivotal role in the go-liberty project, efficiently managing back-end development tasks. With strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach, Pankaj consistently delivers innovative solutions that drive project success.
Ajita is your go to person for all your web needs. With her strategic vision and extensive industry experience, she consistently delivers exceptional results. She enjoys interacting with clients, understanding their business and providing guidance on how to move forward with your project. Ajita always aims at delivering work in a fast turnaround time without compromising one bit on the quality.
Yurii is a seasoned legal professional with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree and CIPP/E certification, specializing in international business law, data protection, privacy law, and regulatory compliance. As the Chief Counsel & CEO of ‘Your Privacy Expert,’ Yurii provides strategic legal guidance and oversees the delivery of high-quality compliance services. With over seven years of experience across jurisdictions such as the EU, US, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and more, Yurii has developed a deep understanding of global data protection regulations. Having successfully led more than 80 compliance and data protection projects, he is a trusted advisor for organizations navigating the complexities of the modern compliance landscape.
Vivek is equally at home in the great outdoors as he is in front of his keyboard. Word has it, he has let it slip on occasions that if he had to choose one of the two – the great outdoors would be the winner! Vivek began his career with no less than a Bachelor in Computer Application, is a Red Hat Engineer and an official AWS Cloud Certified Practitioner. He can provide a full suite of server management support on Linux, Cloud and Networks. Vivek also brings 15 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator. We are just not entirely sure how many of those years have been spent hiking and camping remote and far off destinations.
Marion, a skilled communicator with a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Journalism, brings a versatile skill set to the table. Her expertise spans SEO, online marketing, print media, graphic design software, and office administration. With experience in both corporate and freelance settings, including Boarding School Administration, General Office Administration, and freelance business marketing, Marion has honed her ability to multitask and adapt to diverse environments. Despite the challenges of balancing mumlife and work, Marion remains dedicated to her career, often utilizing her “car-office” to stay productive on the go.
Angelica is our Accountant who has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Philippines and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Australia with a double specialisation in Digital Management and Entrepreneurship. Her primary qualifications are from Australia and Philippines with over 9 years of experience in external auditing for various industry sector. Angelica also has extensive experience in Artificial Intelligence prompt engineering which means she can make us all look great or not so great. With her spare time, she can be found assisting in her accounting business process outsourcing firm outside of Australia.
